I was fortunate to be offered a session on Mark McCreadie’s New and Emerging Music show on Black Diamond FM last week. I’ve done live chat and performance on radio before but not for a long, long time. It also seems like a long time since I’ve performed solo. So I was really excited to do this - and a tiny wee bit nervous.
Mark’s great. I felt at ease straight away and knew we were in for a good blether. The plan was to play three or four live songs. I also gave him a selection of four songs in advance to prompt chat about my influences etc. Turns out, we maybe over-blethered a bit at the expense of a couple of those song influences but hey-ho.
