For 20 years my working life has been rooted in the world of graphic design. After the band split up I had a notion that that’s what I wanted to do. I loved drawing and painting but I just wasn’t any good at it. I got a hold of some early Adobe products and found that here I could actually control my medium well enough to deliver what I imagined.
I don’t get the opportunity to do graphic design in my work much any more so I now turn to those little promo flyers for my live performances to scratch my graphic design itch. Over the years I’ve created quite a few. My plan is to keep doing them even when AI gets really good at it.
