A friend from Tiree gave me a book of folk tales he'd written. These were tales he'd been told in Gaelic as a child. In his book he rewrote them in English as well as in the original Gaelic. I rewrote them as songs, recorded them and released them as an album. Releasing them as an album gave me the opportunity to scratch my design itch too and try my hand at lino printing.
